Bluebridge™ Compact is a Flexible monitor control solution
BlueBridge™ Compact is a flexible system for monitor control. All systems included in the setup is connected directly to the ports of the perferred monitors.
The BlueBridge™Compact control unit allows the user to select the prefered presentation for any system connected to the monitor, either as full screen, dual-split or quad-split presentation. In dual-split and quad-split presentation the user may select where each source will be displayed.
BlueBridge™ Compact enables both space and cost savings through efficient utilization of screen surfaces. In addition, better ergonomics is achieved for workstations as important systems can be operated within a comfortable range.
Flexible utilization of available screens
Large monitors and quad-split
Whenever the monitor allows for this, the system presentation can be either full screen mode, dual-splitt or quad-split. The user is free to choose the preferred presentation during operation.
A typical setup for newbuilds is with two monitors with four DVI ports and a quad-split presentation. For this setup 43'' monitors or larger are recommended.
- For a 43'' monitor each system presentation equals a 21,5'' monitor
- For a 55'' monitor each system presentation equals a 27,5'' monitor

Smaller monitors and source selection
Fitting larger monitors on the bridge can for many vessels be difficult or even impossible. In such cases smaller monitors like 19'', 24'' or 27'' is more suitable. Dependent on the munber of ports available on each monitor, any system can be directly connected to any monitor for fleixible source selection during operation.
