IMO S-BAND SOLID STATE CHART RADAR FAR-3230 SSD (250 W)

Solid State chart radar with 250W output power. With Solid State technology an even clearer echo image is obtained, including small vessels and other objects returning a weak echo. The range is increased and clutter is reduced to a minimum, leaving the navigator with an accurate presentation for improved situational awareness.

Minimum antenna maintenance is required without magnetron and with fanless, brushless motor. All signal conversion is handled in the antenna unit to avoid any signal loss between antenna and processor thus creating the sharpest possible radar image. Automatic clutter elimination filter (ACE – Automatic Clutter Elimination) is easily turned on or off. Quick target acquiring has improved the target tracking function also for the fast moving targets.

This model can be installed as a stand-alone radar or be one of the MFD (Multi Function Display) stations in the Furuno Voyager INS.

Compatible with Furuno Oil radar FOIL-200 and Furuno Ice radar FICE-100, however, X-band radar model is recommended.
