Easy access to your VDR data
Simplified VDR VR-7000S collects ship and sailing data in accordance with government requirements. VDR data provides an overview of the sequence of events within a specific period of time. Often, VDR data contributes directly to the identification of the causes of unwanted events. VR-7000S VDR data is easily retrieved from the data collection unit (DCU) to a USB flash memory. Using an of-the-shelf pc or laptop with the VR-7000 Live Player software installed, VDR data can be replayed in a convenient and user-friendly format.
Furuno VSAT
VSAT is offered as a subscription where bandwidth and all necessary equipment on board is included in the subscription agreement. Secure access to Furuno equipment for remote service can be included in the subscription. Secure access can also be configured for other 3rd party equipment. Installation and on-board service is coordinated by Furuno Norway and performed locally by our dealers, for the fastest possible service.

Wave radar for monitoring and analysis of waves
Furuno wave radar WV-100 uses raw echo data from the Furuno navigation radar to analyze sea surface echoes. The analysis results in a real time presentation of wave patterns and characteristics. Whenever wave heights exceeds defined threshold values for safe operation, an alarm is issued and a report log is created and may be used to document operational interrups.
X-band Doppler weather radar WR-2120 (dual-polarization)
The WR-2120 is our most advanced X-band Doppler weather radar. The dual polarization enables attenuation correction, increased detectability and expand the capability for a detailed high precision and localized weather detection. The radar uses doppler technology and gives accurate radial wind velocity measurements.
X-band doppler weather radar WR-110 (single-polarization)
The WR-110 use the same antenna as the WR-2120, but the vertical polarization – and processing channels are omitted. The result is a very cost-effective single polarization doppler weather radar, well suited for automatic operation.
WR-2100
With ultra high definition spatiotemporal resolution capability, the WR-2100 Dual Polarimetric Doppler Weather Radar grasps omni-directional precipitation intensity in 50-metre-mesh in six-second-interval. By conducting high spatiotemporal resolution monitoring of the development process, three-dimensional structure as well as movement of a cumulonimbus, which causes precipitation, the development of short localised rainstorms can be predicted. Moreover, the WR-2100 has been downsized during the development phase to the extent that can be classified as one of the smallest and lightest Dual Polarimetric Doppler Weather Radar available in the market.
